Season 2022-2023

 

Season 2022-2023 will commence on Sunday the 16th of October. Options for Senior League (U16s) are being considered, Sydney competitions start in mid September.

Try Baseball is being run at Fred Finch Park, Berkeley on Saturday the 27th of August.

Pre-Season training has commenced. We will be running pre season training from 4pm to 5pm on Wednesdays at this stage. Wednesdays fits in best with Seniors training on a Wednesday afternoon. As we get closer to the season start we will firm up training by age group.


Baseball5 continues through August. "Come and try" days will be run  through August culminating in a mini tournament at the end of August. Grab some mates and come on down to the tennis courts behind Collegians Figtree and check it out on the following dates:

  • Sunday 7th of August - 10am to 12 noon
  • Sunday 14th of August - 10am to 12 noon
  • Sunday 21st of August - 10am to 12 noon
  • Sunday 28th of August - 10am to 12 noon

Options for Senior League (U16) players are being considered. We have some genuine interest from a number of players, although we are still looking for a few more so that we have coverage for illnesses and injuries. If you are interested in playing senior league please get in touch ASAP..

The Illawarra junior competition normally runs from October until March (breaking over the summer holidays) with the games being played on a Sunday at Fred Finch Park, Berkeley..

U6,U8, & U10 age groups train at Cringila Park (entry off Lackawanna St) on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-5:30/6:00pm

U10, U14 & U16 age groups train at Cringila Park (entry off Lackawanna St) on a Thursdays afternoons from 5:00-7:00pm. 

We've certainly had a period of good success within our junior & senior ranks and would love to have you involved

In case of wet or doubtful weather, please listen to i98FM or 96.5WaveFM Radio Stations for cancellations.
The IJBL web-site, will normally be updated with any cancellation information on front page.
We'll also post to our Facebook page & the website, if time permits.
As a last resort ring your team coach or manager.
