Season 2007-08

The 2007-2008 season was quite successful in the clubs 60th anniversary year.

Based on an increase in playing numbers & the overall strength of our teams we won the Club Championship. But more importantly we introduced many new kids to the sport & a number of them even continuing on to participate in representative teams.

A summary of teams results from the 2007-2008 season follow:-

Cardinals Tadpole (U6) Gold Teeball team:     Had fun learning the game in the Tadpole division.

Cardinals Tadpole (U6) Maroon Teeball team:     Had fun learning the game in the Tadpole division.

Cardinals Frog (U8) Teeball team:     Did very well for a 'young' team & had heaps of fun.

Cardinals Rookie (Zooka-U10) Gold team:   Zooka Gala Day winners.

Cardinals Rookie (Zooka-U10) Maroon team:   Undefeated in the normal competition rounds.

Cardinals Little League (U12) Gold team:   2nd at the end of rounds - Finalists

Cardinals Little League (U12) Maroon team:   Minor Premiers - Won the GRANDFINAL

Cardinals U14s team:   2nd at the end of rounds  - Won the GRANDFINAL

Cardinals U16s team:   Minor Premiers - Runners up in the GRANDFINAL


Cardinals in IJBL 2007 Rep teams

Cardinals in 2007 Country NSW Development Squads

The following Cardinals have been selected in the NSW Country Development Squads for a trip to the Gold Coast on 13-15 July, to play some trial games against NSW & QLD Development squads.

Cardinals make 2008 CBNSW Teams

Congratulations to our Cardinals players that have been selected in the Country NSW teams to compete at the National Youth Championships in January 2008.

Cardinals in South Coast PSSA Softball team

Two of our Cardinals Little League players (Jarrod Bridges & Lincoln Mackreth) have been chosen in the South Coast PSSA Softball team to contest the NSW PSSA Championships in Orange in late October.
This is the second year running they have been involved in the South Coast team - well done.
